Beef Stew

I thought I would post a flexible recipe today.  This is a beef stew that is extremely easy to make (all you need is a crock pot and a pulse) and can be served a couple different ways.  You can eat it by itself, or over potatoes or noodles.  Heres the recipe:

Ingredients

  • 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can condensed Cheddar cheese soup
  • 1 package beef with onion soup mix
  • 3 pounds beef stew meat

Directions

  1. Pour the cream of mushroom soup, cheese soup and onion soup mix into a slow cooker, and mix well. Add beef, cover and cook on Low for 8 hours, or on High for 4 to 5 hours.
  2. Eat

  28. Some chopped mushrooms would go great in that. Wild! :)

You could probably make your own mushroom broth, and then boil it until it gets thicker. Or thicken it with a little bit of sour cream. :)
